Scottish archeologist Robert Adam considered it one of the most beautiful monuments in Europe. Rectangular in shape, the temple was built to honor the cult of Jupiter. It lies on the slightly elevated stand. Before the temple entrance there was a porch with six pillars.

We were at the Kastel in July 2008. Loved the simple authenticity of this hotel, B&B style. I suggest getting the room with the breakfast included option. It is very good. Our room was on the corner, overlooking the Riva. Very nice except noisy at night when you want to sleep. They have several ...
